Deism. Natural Religion.
Some people will tell you that Deism is dead. These
people are mistaken. Thanks to the Internet and a growing population of
tolerant minds, we are proud to announce that Deism's death has been
greatly exaggerated. A modern Deist movement is steadily gaining numbers as
more people come to the realization that they too are Deists.
Deists thirst for knowledge. We know doubt and uncertainty, and we do not
fear them. Deists are incurably curious. We have
learned enough to understand how little we know.
Deist.info is short for Deist Information. The Deist Information site
holds a broad range of
information for all Deists: Deist history, writings by Deist authors, links
to Deist Websites and Blogs, primers for those just learning about
Deism, and a wealth of other information of interest to Deists and
fellow Freethinkers.
Navigating the site can be easy if you consult the
Site Map or use the
Search
button at right.
The "FAQ" link at left stands for Frequently Asked Questions. Deists do
ask a lot of questions, and sometimes there is more than one answer.
"Links" at left are exactly what they sound like: a wealth of links to information at other Websites.
"Info about Deism" is the main gateway to a number
of sub-pages on the history of Deism, information about well-known
Deists and Freethinkers, essays and works.
"Primers on Deism" leads to several essays for
people who are new to Deism. This is a good place to start if you want
to learn about some of the basics.
"New on the Site" gives a comprehensive and expanded history of new additions to the Deist Information Website.
The "Deist Alliance" links at left lead to the various Websites that comprise the Deist Alliance (of which this site is a proud member). The Deist Alliance
was formed to foster communications among like-minded Websites interested in promoting Deism in its various forms. Each member of the Alliance brings a unique perspective to
the table.
"Email Suggestions" is an important feature of the Deist Information Website.
It is your way of making this site more useful as a reference for you
and other Deists looking for information on the Web.
Our goal here at the Deist Information Website is really quite
simple. We want to be the best single source of information
for Deists on the whole World Wide Web.
Steve Zinn's original Deist.info site can still be
found here.
