Many of the people listed here, were not necessarily Deists. And many who were Deists, did not always practice what they preached. People being people, there was some good and bad in all of them. I have included some known non-Deists because of their impact on Deism and the rest of the world. The reader can decide for themselves if those that are listed were or were not Deists.

Old Calendar/New Calendar Explanation
The dates in question saying New Calendar and Old Calendar is due to the calendar being changed in 1752 by England. Of course at that time, communications were slow between England and her colonies. Thus, it would appear that some people born in some years were born twice or that the date that they were born is in question. But actually, the date is accurate. It is the calendar which was being used at the time that is in question.

A little explanation:
This calendar was broken up into four parts to help keep the pages shorter, thus allowing for quicker loading times and less scrolling for the viewer. I hope that this helps and not hinders anyone viewing these pages. Thank you for your understanding.
